Unlike the old poster stores in Jimbocho, the little shops in Nakano Broadway seem generally much cheaper. Sure, the selection is smaller and the movies more obscure, but when you can pick up original Japanese posters for 500 or 1000 yen, who's complaining?
CS2 (Cinema Sheet Shop, on the 4th floor) seems to specialize in Japanese posters of foreign films, along with Japanese scripts, pamphlets, and flyers. Douraku Posterya (on the 2nd floor) had more Japanese movies and anime posters, but both were extremely cheap for the most part. Better rush over there right now if you are looking for a poster of MATANGU, the drug-addled Toho horror movie about people who turn into mushrooms. A bargain at 37,000 yen!
